A Dialogue between China Logistics and Shandong Heavy Industry Group

On January 3, Liu Jingzhen, Party Secretary and Chairman, and Liao Jiasheng, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of China Logistics, met with Man Shenggang, Party Secretary and Chairman, and Wang Zhijian, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, in Beijing. They held discussions on deepening cooperation, the integration of the two industries, and the sharing of innovative technologies. Li Xiangyang, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Logistics, and Ma Changhai, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, also participated in the talks.

Liu Jingzhen extended a warm welcome to Man Shenggang and his delegation, introducing the background, strategic direction, and business segments of China Logistics. He pointed out that Shandong Heavy Industry Group holds significant influence in the equipment manufacturing sector with continuous breakthroughs in operational quality, efficiency and international market expansion. As the only central state-owned enterprise focusing on integrated logistics, China Logistics is committed to serving modern circulation and safeguarding national and public welfare. Liu Jingzhen expressed the hope to deepen business coordination with Shandong Heavy Industry Group in all aspects based on their strong existing partnership, so as to enhance the resilience of industrial and supply chains, and jointly creating a model for the integration of modern logistics with advanced manufacturing. Liao Jiasheng reflected on the successful history of cooperation between China Logistics and Shandong Heavy Industry Group and expressed hope for continued collaboration and win-win results in areas such as supply chain integration services, international logistics, and smart logistics.

Man Shenggang expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from China Logistics,  praised the achievements China Logistics has made since its establishment, and introduced the strategic direction and business development of Shandong Heavy Industry Group. He noted that China Logistics, as the 'national team' of integrated logistics, holds advantages in overall scale, business capabilities, and technological strength, and has accumulated rich experience in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Shandong Heavy Industry Group is dedicated to becoming a a world-class multinational group, characterized by cutting-edge technology, green development, and leadership in the high-end equipment sector. It has established a leading position in the fields of commercial vehicles, industrial forklifts, and power generation equipment. Man Shenggang expressed his hope to establish a deeper, higher-level strategic partnership with China Logistics, to empower each other, jointly promote the integration and innovation of industrial and supply chains, and advance digital transformation so as to achieve high-quality development.

Before the meeting, the delegation from Shandong Heavy Industry Group visited the Dispatch Center at China Logistics’ headquarters. Heads of relevant departments from both companies also attended the event.
