On the morning of January 5th, Wen Jinrong, Party Secretary of Jining, and Zhang Haibo, Deputy Party Secretary and Acting Mayor of Jining, met with Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Director of the Shandong Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), as well as Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Wang Zhijian, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, and their delegation. The meeting was also attended by Chen Chenghua, Deputy Party Secretary of Jining and Secretary of the High-tech Zone Party Working Committee, as well as city leaders Dong Bo and Li Tiandong.
Wen Jinrong expressed his gratitude on behalf of the municipal party committee and government for the longstanding support from the Shandong SASAC to Jining, and commended the remarkable achievements made by Shandong Heavy Industry Group. He stated that the recently concluded 8th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of Jining Municipal Party Committee and the Jining Economic Work Conference had thoroughly implemented the work requirements of the provincial party committee and government, outlining the goals and key tasks for the current and future periods. He emphasized that the city would prioritize industrial economy as its 'number one project,' with a focus on promoting green, low-carbon, and high-quality growth. Wen Jinrong expressed the hope that Shandong Heavy Industry Group, with its advantages in scale and strength, would actively participate in the economic development of Jining. He assured that the municipal party committee and government would provide full support, the best environment, utmost sincerity, and the most efficient services for the development and project construction of the enterprise.
Man Shengang briefly introduced the development of state-owned assets and enterprises in Shandong, as well as the production and operations of Shandong Heavy Industry Group and its role in industrial development in Jining. He thanked the Jining municipal government for providing a favorable business environment for the Group's growth. Man Shengang noted that, with strong support from the Jining municipal party committee and government, Shandong Heavy Industry Group's subsidiaries, Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Sinotruk Jining Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., have experienced strong growth and sustained positive development. He forecast that in 2024, their product sales and profitability would continue improving. Shandong Heavy Industry Group will fully support these two companies in establishing themselves in Jining, integrating with the city, and contributing to its development, to achieve higher-quality and higher-level development, create a new chapter of cooperation between local government and enterprises, and make a greater contribution to Jining's economic and social development.
